🔒 Summary: Raeen Workspace Pro does NOT collect, transmit, sell, or monetize any personal information, browsing history, search queries, IP addresses, or typed content. All data remains strictly inside your local browser.

1. Introduction

Raeen Workspace Pro ("we", "our", or "the extension") is developed by Abdus Samad Raeen as an open-source productivity sanctuary and new tab workspace for Chromium-based browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi). We believe privacy is a fundamental human right. This Privacy Policy outlines our uncompromising commitment to user privacy and explains how data is handled.

2. What Information Do We Collect?

None. We do not collect, harvest, or log any personal information. Specifically:

No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect your name, email, account details, or device identifiers.
No Browsing History: Your search queries, viewed websites, and tab interactions are never recorded, tracked, or sent to external servers.
No Keystroke Tracking: Quick notes written in the dashboard stay 100% on your device.
No Analytics or Telemetry: We do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Sentry, tracking pixels, or third-party telemetry beacons.

3. How Data is Stored (Local-First Architecture)

All custom settings, chosen wallpapers, custom layout coordinates, and quick notes are stored strictly within your browser's private local storage sandbox:

chrome.storage.local: Used to persist theme preferences, layout modes, and audio choices locally.
IndexedDB: Used as a client-side high-speed cache for wallpaper thumbnails and note records.
L1 Memory Cache: Used for sub-16ms synchronous cold boots.

This data never leaves your computer and is never synced to any remote database controlled by us.

4. Browser Permissions & Justification

In accordance with Google Chrome Web Store policies, every permission requested in manifest.json is strictly limited to its declared feature:

Permission	Specific Purpose
`proxy`	Used exclusively when you activate the Privacy Shield or connect to an encrypted Tor/SOCKS5 proxy relay. Cleared immediately back to direct on disconnect.
`privacy`	Used solely to seal WebRTC IP hardware leaks (`disable_non_proxied_udp`), preventing hostile sites from learning your private physical IP.
`downloads`	Enables the client-side creative tools to save your exported PDF documents and PhotoCraft artwork to your device's Downloads folder.
`storage` & `unlimitedStorage`	Stores your workspace layouts, notes, and wallpaper preferences locally on your disk.
`topSites`	Displays your most visited shortcuts on the dashboard. Computed entirely inside Chrome without external transmissions.
`search`	Integrates with the official Chrome Search API (`chrome.search.query`) to execute web searches using your default configured search provider directly from the dashboard.

5. Remote Code Policy

Raeen Workspace Pro strictly complies with Google Chrome's Manifest V3 security requirements:

Zero Remote Code: All JavaScript, CSS, Web Audio synthesis algorithms, and icons are completely bundled into the offline extension package.
No Dynamic Script Execution: No eval(), Function(), or external script fetching is used anywhere in the codebase.

6. Data Deletion & The Nuclear SCRAM Feature

You have complete control over your data at all times:

Nuclear Purge Button: A single click on the dashboard's "Clear Traces" button immediately wipes all extension storage, cookies, and cache records.
Uninstalling the Extension: Removing the extension from your browser automatically deletes all associated local storage and settings permanently.

7. Google API User Data Policy Compliance

Raeen Workspace Pro adheres to the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, including the Limited Use requirements. We affirm that user data is never transferred to third parties or used for creditworthiness, lending, or advertising.
